OK.  We opened up the season with an end-of-season poll – “Which of these teams will have the highest BCS ranking at the end of the season?” The poll is closed and the results are in:

• 35% said Texas  
• 33% said USC
• 22% said Alabama
• 10% said Virginia Tech

 We’ll revisit this at the end of the season to see how we did. I’m going to try something, though. Once all of these teams have played this weekend, we’ll put this same poll back up and let you look into your crystal ball again to see what you think.
