Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for. “Must watch TV” has been, once again, redefined by football season and I couldn’t be happier. Tonight is also the night that I get to see just how good my football forecasting capabilities are – South Carolina vs North Carolina State and Oregon vs Boise. These 2 opening night games are where I feel the least amount of confidence. The fact that many of you have predicted differently than I did doesn’t help to boost that confidence level. Even here, in the pigpen, we had quite a bit of debate around which way to go with these 2 games. In the end, I just had to set in house and Vegas opinions aside and go with my gut. I’m looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.

Once the games begin, a new widget will show up on the site showing you the top 10 scores for Pigskin Pick’s so far. It will update at the end of every game throughout the weekend.
